Värtsilän perinteinen laturetki hiihdetään ensi lauantaina. Mahdollisuus on lykkiä jopa 30 kilometriä, mikä vaatii melkoista kuntoa. Mutta vielähän on aikaa treenata.
Lähtö on Riistamajalta kello 10-15. Reittivaihtoehtoja on kartan perusteella monen kuntoisille. Järjestäjinä ovat Värtsilän Kisa, Värtsilän Riistamiehet ja partiolippukunta Värtsin Takojat. Osallistumismaksu on 10 euroa.
Lähtöpaikan lisäksi on kolme huoltopistettä. Tarjolla lienee ainakin mehua, kahvia ja makkaraa. Saunat lämpiävät Riistamajalla kello 13 alkaen.

I was down in Helsinki last week and went skiing out on the sea around Seurasaari and that area…. It was like being in the middle of a building site. The noise was incredible… Also went to try the latu in Munkivuori… Well, everything is so dirty and dog crap everywhere, in the end I never did it….
If people in Helsinki knew what we have up here everyday…. Nothing special…. pure white snow, silence, hills….
Why go all the way to Lapland for a skiing holiday??
I don’t actually know so many people who prefer a busy ski resort with discos and bars over something as simple and traditional as we have here…
